Baron's Blackberry Cobbler

A simple recipe for blackberry cobbler. My future father-in-law cultivates enormous blackberry bushes and usually has enough. I tried quite a few different recipes, but none of them was just right. Therefore, I devised this one, and it proved to be so successful that my fiancee proclaimed it to be the finest she had ever experienced. Serve while still warm, along with heavy cream or whipped cream.

Step 1

Prepare an oven by heating it to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C). Prepare a baking dish that is 9×13 inches and lightly grease it. In a separate bowl, combine the sugar and cornstarch by whisking them together. Set this aside.

Blackberries should be placed in a mixing bowl, and then a quarter cup of melted butter should be drizzled over them.
